Our playing spans a wide range of music - films, musicals and classical. Our conductor chooses music, either from our own library of scores or from the BBC Ten Pieces web site, which offers enough challenge but is still accessible and enjoyable to play. We are fortunate to have additional specialist tutors who take sectional rehearsals in strings, woodwind, brass and percussion on occassion and regularly provide support for their section during full rehearsals. Each term we put on an end-of-term concert. Family, friends and indeed any member of the public, can attend these concerts. They are very popular locally and we have many loyal supporters.

Christmas brings extra performance opportunities in addition to the end of term concert. We enjoy playing our Christmas repertoire of carols and winter tunes at Helensburgh Winter Festival and sometimes we play at a local garden centre and supermarket . See the Gallery for performance pictures.
